Elora Gorge Session

Couples, Engagement, Stories, Elora Gorge, Ontario, Photography

I had an absolute blast capturing Brittany and Drew's couple's session! We hung out at sunset in the stunning Elora Gorge, Guelph, Ontario, and the views were just breathtaking.

Brittany and Drew wanted some playful, water and nature couple's shots, so we headed to one of my all-time favourite gorges near Guelph. The plan was to finish at an old covered bridge, but the tiny country road leading there was closed. So, we had to pivot quickly and take advantage of the golden hour. Honestly, most people would pass by this field and think it's just a bunch of weeds or not even notice it at all!!

But we saw all the golden yellow grass and creamy flowers (the "weeds"), the tall AF grass, and the dreamiest lighting ever around 9 p.m. in the summer months.

I'm so grateful these cuties ran around this massive field with me to bring this vision to life!! It was so natural and laid-back – Brittany and Drew know how to have a good time and look absolutely bomb in front of the camera.

My favourite part of this session, hands down, was Brittany and Drew's adventurous spirit about getting into the chilly stream! Pushing themselves into something a little wild made it an experience to remember and gave us a more unique, authentic gallery.

I'm all about carefully curated colour schemes. If you're looking for outfit themes and schemes to match your personality, I always suggest inspiration on Pinterest—there are tons of ideas there!
