But First, We Coffee

Early mornings have a magical way of setting the tone for the day, especially when spent with a couple as genuine and laid-back as Jessica and Cody. Their engagement shoot began with a cozy start: coffee, of course. The overcast skies lent a misty, foggy vibe that added a touch of romance to the morning.
As Cody does every Saturday morning, he transformed into a chef before our eyes, kneading dough like a Martha Stewart protege. Their home, adorned with art and adorable mementos of their journey together, exuded warmth and character, providing the perfect backdrop for capturing their love story.
As the day unfolded, the clouds parted, revealing clear blue skies that seemed to invite us to go outside. But not before another coffee from their favourite London Ontario spot, at the Locomotive Cafe. One of my highlights was meeting Scout, who was just as eager as Jessica to explore the muddy park barefoot, where we visited their secret ceremony location. Watching them all trek through nature, with laughter echoing through the air, was truly like spending time with close friends and quickly became one of my favourite moments of the shoot.
Jessica and Cody's engagement shoot was a testament to their easygoing nature, deep love, and shared passions. It was a joy to capture these genuine moments of connection and adventure.
P.S. Later, I was treated to the most delicious loaf of bread. Their avocado toast and grilled cheese were simply awesome!
